The Sr Principal Chemical Engineer will perform engineering work related to the operation of chemical plant equipment and processes. Preferred qualifications include a wide application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts in the propulsion field, with a working knowledge of related disciplines such as thermal, structural, and ballistics analysis. Broad knowledge and experience with energetics, solid propellants, and related materials are desired. Substantial experience with physics-based modeling of related technologies such as polymer mechanics, environmental degradation and aging, combustion, detonation, particle packing, and rheology is also preferred.
