Job summary

Reece USA is seeking a Senior Pricing Analytics Analyst to lead advanced data analytics for pricing strategies across all product and customer segments in the USA. You will advance the Customized Pricing Model to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

The role drives cross-functional collaboration with Data, Sales, Transformation and Merchandising teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and supports AI-powered pricing initiatives aligned with the 2030 pricing vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, analytics, mathematics required.
• Minimum 5 years of cost/pricing, revenue management, operations, sales, or business development experience required.
• Hands-on experience with pricing optimization systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish pricing business strategies to optimize gross profit across categories.
• Create data-driven reporting and dashboards to promote the benefits of Customized Pricing for every customer to branch network.
• Provide analytical insights and advise the Network, Pricing colleagues and Category Management on price, cost and purchasing opportunities to improve gross profit.
• Effectively communicate strategies to branch network, merchandising and purchasing teams.

Purpose

Senior Pricing Analytics Analyst is responsible for using advanced data analytics in establishing pricing business strategies for optimizing gross profit while being accountable for executing the data driven analytics defining the strategies. The brief is to continue to advance our model and service in the USA managing pricing across all product and customer segments, advancing the Customized Pricing Model, to ensure we are competitive and profitable.

The primary role of Senior Pricing Analytics Analyst is to introduce and utilize advanced data analytics to achieve optimum overall acceptance and profitability of Customized Pricing, ensure the appropriate level of pricing competitiveness and to build a culture of data driven pricing decision making.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Data, Sales, Transformation and Merchandising teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Partner with the Network and its Leaders to advance data driven Customized Pricing.
• Effectively communicate recommended changes in pricing, supporting the transparency & consistency pillars of the Four Pillars model

• Support development proposals for the digitization of pricing processes and execute industry world class solutions.
• Introduce new methodologies that advance automation of foundational processes.

MinimuM Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, or other similar degrees required
• Minimum of 5 years of cost / pricing, revenue management, operations, sales, or business development experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of wholesale distribution industry experience preferred
• Hands on experience with a pricing optimization system (eg. PriceFX, Vendavo, ZIlliant) preferred
