Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Sr. Pre-Construction Manager for Gulf States Region projects, based out of our Austin, TX office. You will lead cost modeling, budgeting, and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and subs.

Travel to sites and offices supports project success. The ideal candidate has 6–10 years in pre-construction/estimating with large-scale projects, plus familiarity with building systems and codes.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of pre-construction, estimating, or related field experience with projects greater than $5 million or the equivalent
• MBA, LEED, DBIA, PE license or other advanced degrees are preferred
• Experience with K12/higher education and health care required
• Knowledge of code, permitting, and municipality processes

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual cost models and budgets; perform quantitative analyses of construction documents and project program requirements
• Provide direction and oversight of project coordination, logistics, staffing, and procurement of resources
• Coordinate the preparation of cost models, milestone estimates, and GMP packages to ensure contract, scope, and budget compliance
• Provide consultative guidance on constructability, schedule, quality, phasing, and staffing
• Build and facilitate collaborative team processes among project participants
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
