Sr. Power Studies Engineer - Electrical
Remote or Hybrid available!
Build Safer, Smarter Power Systems for Complex Operations
Are you an Electrical Engineer who wants to specialize in power system analysis rather than simply touch it as part of a broader engineering role?
This opportunity focuses on arc flash studies, short circuit and load flow analysis, protective device coordination, and power system modeling for complex industrial, transportation, aerospace, manufacturing, and data center environments.
Your analysis will directly support decisions involving the design, protection, operation, and maintenance of large-scale electrical systems.
If you have a few years of hands‑on experience with SKM PowerTools, EasyPower, or ETAP and want to build a deeper career in power studies, this could be a strong opportunity.
You’ve already become the "power studies person" on your projects - building models in SKM, EasyPower, or ETAP, performing studies, working through protective device coordination, and translating technical results into clear recommendations.
Experience with relay settings, deeper protection and coordination work, medium‑voltage systems, or a PE license is also highly valued.
SKM PowerTools
Power studies and arc flash analysis are a core part of the role, providing the opportunity to develop a highly marketable specialty in power systems engineering.
You’ll work across a variety of technically challenging environments, including industrial, manufacturing, transportation/rail, aerospace, and data center projects, while continuing to deepen your expertise in power system analysis and electrical design.
Remote or hybrid options are available depending on project responsibilities.
Occasional travel to client and project sites will be required.
