Summary:
Provides quality guest service while accurately and efficiently performing patron transactions with cash and cash equivalents. Learns and remains knowledgeable of the player’s club and the casino. Positively impacts player programs by recruiting for, enrolling in, and informing players of the program details to help reach profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops understanding of the player’s club, current promotions, and events.
- Assists customers with enrolling, changing, or redeeming transactions in the player’s club system in a positive, helpful manner.
- Operates with an impressed inventory of cash, performs exchanges of gaming vouchers for cash, cash equivalents for deposits, checks for cash, chips for cash, markers for cash, performs chip transfers, issues gaming vouchers, completes emergency BV transactions, and responds to service issues.
- Runs reports and verifies patron credit line requests in accordance with regulations.
- Demonstrates proficiency in relevant systems and internal controls.
- Serves as a property ambassador with knowledge of the casino property.
- Develops and maintains relationships with loyal players to maximize personalized experiences and return visits.
- May serve as a Main Bank Cashier or Player Services Cage Asst Manager in their absence, but not both within a single day.
- Maintains knowledge of tracking systems, policies, and procedures, and suggests improvements.
- Has authority to issue complimentaries as per the approved matrix.
- Represents the company professionally at meetings and events.
- Meets performance expectations in communication, initiative, guest service, work habits, conduct, and responsible gaming.
- Ensures interactions follow customer service guidelines and adheres to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED; 1-2 years cashiering experience or equivalent.
- Large cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to respond to guest inquiries and complaints.
- Ability to interpret documents and manuals.
- Strong communication skills and basic math skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office, POS, and casino software.
- Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet other credentialing requirements.
