Tailored Brands is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Merchandise Planning team in Dublin, CA. You will develop merchandise open-to-buy and inventory plans, forecast strategies, and manage coordination with Merchandising, Planning, and Replenishment to optimize inventory and hit company targets.

You will lead planning projects, analyze performance data, and drive allocation strategies to ensure the right products reach stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of experience in a planning role.
• Retail apparel experience with Direct Sourced products a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extremely detail oriented and able to analyze down to the lowest level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel; Microstrategy reporting a plus; Blue Yonder EP Planning a plus.
• Replenishment proficiency a plus.

About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Planner to join our Merchandise Planning team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of merchandise plans and the creation and management of forecast and open-to-buy strategies. This role works as an integral part of the Merchandising, Planning, and Replenishment teams by identifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations to ensure that we are maximizing our inventory investment. The Senior Planner is responsible for achieving sales, margin, and inventory objectives for the Company and working in conjunction with the Merchant team. This role also serves as a team leader as well as a point person for planning projects.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 12+ years of experience in a planning role preferred
• Retail Apparel experience with Direct Sourced products a plus
• Sound analytical, financial, strategic, and problem-solving skills
• Extremely detail oriented and willing to analyze down to the lowest level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including extremely strong ability in Microsoft Excel
• Microstrategy reporting ability a plus
• Blue Yonder EP Planning a plus
• Replenishment proficiency a plus
• Ability to build partnerships, manage teams, and work closely with a diverse group of people

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

• Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily

• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
• Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from our Dublin, California office.

The starting salary for this position is $133,494 - $175,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $190,000. Other compensation may include a 15% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
