BJH is hiring for a Sr. PI Consultant. This is a hybrid position. We are looking for applicants with a nursing background in IR, ICU, ED, or trauma. Must have trauma patient experience.

Preferred: ATCN provider/instructor, TNCC provider/instructor, ATLS course coordinator, PHTLS provider/instructor

Role Purpose

Manages or provides in-depth and broad process improvement/transformation expertise for project teams, process owners, operations, leadership, and stakeholders to achieve engagement goals and operational performance objectives for successful business outcomes. Engagement scope varies in size, complexity, and strategic alignment. Performs and manages tasks related to:

  • 6 Sigma, Lean, rapid improvement events, and related activities
  • Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis, and tracking
  • Change management
  • Team facilitation
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Risk/Issue identification and mitigation
  • Stakeholder reports and tollgates
  • Training in continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support tasks related to process improvement, including problem measurement, voice of the customer, data collection, value stream, and process mapping.
  • Develop future state goals, analyze gaps, and utilize advanced data and statistical techniques for root cause analysis.
  • Facilitate complex rapid improvement events focusing on value stream analysis, standard work, waste reduction, error proofing, and workplace organization.
  • Provide expert advice for rollouts, implementation, and sustainment plans, ensuring proper project management and stakeholder communication.
