Methodist Le Bonheur Health Care in Memphis seeks a Physician Recruiter I to screen, recruit, and interview internal and external applicants for posted and anticipated physician vacancies. You will coordinate steps to hire, advise management on the best candidates, and maintain relationships with internal staff and external agencies.
You will use Workday and PracticeMatch to research candidates, partner with locum recruiters, and support onboarding with hiring leaders while upholding MLH mission

The Recruiter takes a proactive role in filling job vacancies and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in work matters. Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates. Maintains an effective working relationship with internal staff and external agencies. Assists in recruitment of Locum providers to cover temporary vacancies in physician practices. Stays abreast of HR practices. Utilizes Workday and other databases for research, applicant tracking and new hire processing. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision, and Values. Recruits, interviews, and refers qualified applicants (external and internal) for posted positions. Counsels with prospective candidates regarding employment procedures, processes, and activities. Assists with the compilation of confidential and statistical reports. Understands, applies, supports and facilitates system and department policies, procedures, and standards and input budgetary needs. Coordinates travel for potential hires and create interview itinerary for site visits. Extends employment offers and supports onboarding with hiring leaders. Works directly with locums and contingency search firms to efficiently fill vacancies. Assists and partners with Physician Recruiter II, Director of Physician Recruitment, and Sr. Director of Physician Recruitment special projects. Utilizes Workday, PracticeMatch, PracticeLink, and other databases for research, applicant tracking, and new hire processing. Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.
Substitutions Allowed: In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent with seven years of physician/provider recruiting experience.
There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities associated with this position.
The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, or extensive reading. The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
