Exelon Corporation is seeking a Security Systems Specialist to support Corporate Physical Security (CPS). The role focuses on reducing risk by managing intrusion detection, access control, and video systems across multiple offices, with hybrid in-office/remote work.

The candidate will collaborate with product management and engineering, serve as SME for security operations software, and oversee vendor activities to ensure regulatory compliance and effective system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years combined education/experience in CS/IT/electronic engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of security system experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of PC/desktop applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Extensive knowledge of CCure 9000E, ExacqVision, and DMP security systems.

Primary Purpose

JOB EXPECTATION: Engage in job duties outlined below, to reduce risk exposure in areas of cyber and physical security; and to promote our mission of safeguarding the people, property, reputation and shareholder value of the corporation.

PURPOSE:

• Serve as a key member of Corporate Physical Security (CPS) Security Systems Support team
• Develop and execute implementation plan for security system configuration changes
• Provide operational support and oversight of security systems used in Corporate Physical Security
• Evaluate features and functionality of applications in the security systems portfolio to make determination of the feasibility of implementing those features.
• Facilitate and participate in product evolution and roadmap discussions with product management and engineering teams of security system products used in our environment.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Security Operations software systems.
• Provide oversight to vendors providing software, systems, and project support.
• Ensure compliance of security systems with Management Model and regulatory standards

Job Scope

Ensure efficient operation of intrusion detection, access control, and video systems.Track and identify security system performance issues, effectively manage change in the system environment, and ensure effective integration of systems with IT systems depending on the data from the security systems. Work independently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related discipline. In lieu of a degree, at least 6 years combination of education and work experience.
• At least 4 years of security system experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Extensive Knowledge and Proficiency on the following systems: CCure 9000E, ExacqVision, DMP

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree
• Technical certifications related to electronic security systems, IT networks, and/or physical security protection

• Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $99,200.00/Yr. – $136,400.00/Yr.
