Position Specific Description

Join our dynamic team as a Safety & Health Professional supporting NextEra Energy's Wind Operations in the West Hub. In this role you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our workforce across the hub’s wind fleet. You work closely with PGD safety to strengthen our safety management systems.

You'll mentor colleagues through safety coaching and training while conducting thorough root cause analyses (RCAs) to recommend actionable improvements that strengthen our safety management systems.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in electric power generation, transmission, and distribution, or comparable industrial environments. Your deep understanding of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910.269, 1926), ANSI, NFPA, and NESC standards will be invaluable.

The ideal candidate brings proven leadership in safety program development, training delivery, and investigations. You’re an effective communicator who can engage diverse audiences—from frontline workers to executive leadership—both in‑person and virtually. Your technical writing skills complement your proficiency with Microsoft Office and other digital platforms.

We value self‑starters who can influence cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders while identifying field hazards and providing practical mitigation strategies. Industrial hygiene experience is a welcome plus.
