What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect outstanding Accounts Receivable for assigned payers or institutions to meet cash collection goals
- Review EOB’s and medical policies to evaluate and submit appeals for denied claims
- Conduct in-depth research to obtain coverage for denied claims or invoices
- Develop and deliver detailed reports to management summarizing payer claim issues
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow processes and resolve claims issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in genetic billing
- 4+ years of experience with various payer knowledge and working Accounts Receivables
- High school diploma plus some college preferred
- Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans, and ICD 10 codes
- Proficiency with Practice Management systems; Xifin experience preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with different payer plans and basic understanding of Accounts Receivable
- Detail-oriented, analytical skills, and experienced in writing appeals
- Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for creating reports
