Job summary

Constellation, based in Middletown, PA, invites applications for a Senior Performance Specialist at the Crane Clean Energy Center to lead on-site performance improvements and PI program implementation. You will drive CAP-related activities, review performance indicators, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with safety and regulatory compliance in mind.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or equivalent.
  • Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of related experience.
  • Associate's degree with 7 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years exempt level experience.
  • Maintain access requirements and pass medical examinations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement performance improvement programs and provide support and oversight.
  • Review site performance data and identify adverse trends.
  • Support CAP investigations and issue review.
  • Manage performance indicators.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally to prepare MRM packages.
  • Emergency Response duties and/or coverage as directed.

Expected salary range of $113,400 to $126,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

***This role is for a Senior Performance Specialist and is located in Middletown, PA at Crane Clean Energy Center (CEC).

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for the site implementation of performance improvement (PI) programs, which may include Correction Action Process (CAP), Self-Assessment (SA), Benchmarking (BM), Human Performance (HU), Operating Experience (OPEX), Safety Culture (SC), Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB) and/or various Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) related activities (including eval readiness and scheduling, and course scheduling).

Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Responsible for implementing performance improvement programs and providing support and oversight of those programs.

  • Review site performance data and identify adverse trends using observations, CAP, self‑assessment, benchmarking, OPEX, and performance indicator data.

  • Support CAP investigations and support issue review (IR).

  • Manage performance indicators.

  • Coordinate cross‑functionally to prepare Management Review Meeting (MRM) packages.

  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience OR

  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of related experience OR

  • Associate's degree with 7 years of related experience OR

  • High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience

  • Minimum of 2 years exempt level experience

  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in PI/OR Programs

  • Previous SRO license/certification

  • Root Cause Qualified

  • Previously worked in either (Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations)
