The opportunity

As a Sr People Analytics Partnerwithin our People Team organization, you will be pivotal in supporting the Human Resources department in various operational and administrative functions related to employee lifecycle management. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to provide insights that support data-driven decision-making within the Human Resources function.

*This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for conversion to full-time employment based on business needs and performance.*

What you’ll do

  • Data Analytics and Visualization: Examine raw data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights to present in a visual format, like charts and graphs.
  • HRIS Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, generate reports, and resolve system issues within the HRIS, including managing the ticketing system to track and address requests related to HRIS and HR operations.
  • HR Projects: Partner with HR leaders to drive business initiatives with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and employee engagement.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Perform data integrity checks to ensure data reporting meets regulatory requirements and can be easily verified during audits, identifying and resolving issues related to accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to streamline HR operations and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Document Management: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations. Maintain personnel files and other HR documents per legal requirements and company policies.

The experience you bring

  • 7+ years in HR with expertise in People Operations, Project Management, and HRIS
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or relevant experience and accomplishments)
  • The ability to create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate data-driven insights.
  • Experience with HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors, ADP), project management (Jira), and Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills with experience using Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

It’s exciting if you also have

  • Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or People Analytics Specialty certifications
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, and SQL, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau, is a plus!

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. In addition to salary, Magic Leap offers a discretionary bonus and a fully comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

US Hourly Salary Range
