The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Senior Outbound Officer in the Code Compliance, Animal Care and Control Division to lead foster, transfer, events, and volunteer programs. You will collaborate with shelter partners and volunteers to strengthen community animal welfare.

Pay Range: $24.67 - $30.83/hr. | $51,308- $64,135 annual compensation

A Senior Outbound Officer position is available with The City of Fort Worth Code Compliance department, Animal Care and Control Division.
This position will focus on assisting the shelter’s animal fostering program, transfer (local and out of state) partner network, events team, and volunteer program. Our Animal Care and Control department has hundreds of dedicated volunteers, fosters and partners who help the staff and animals with various tasks. Our foster, volunteer and transfer programs continue to grow and we are seeking an individual who can help us continue to strengthen and expand these programs.
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling and lifting; depending on assignment. Incumbents may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises.
Heavy Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
