Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in learning and development or organizational development within healthcare, with strong instructional design and facilitation skills, and aligns with LEAN improvement methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Education, Org Dev/Leadership or HR; Master preferred.
• Min 5 years experience in learning & development, organizational development or related.
• Practical experience using learning theories, instructional design, interactive training and learning design principles; 5 years healthcare leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee enterprise learning initiatives within AMHS.
• Utilize LEAN methodology for problem solving and process improvement.
• Design interactive training and learning experiences for diverse audiences.
• Evaluate learning programs and recommend design changes.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams and mentor leaders in the organization.
• Coordinate with HR and education stakeholders to align curriculum with clinical needs.

Min 5yrs experience in learning & development, organizational development or related. Practical experience using Learning theories, Instructional Design, interactive training and learning design principles. 5 years acute healthcare leadership experience.

• Proficiencyworking with learning management systems and online training platforms.
• Strong knowledge and experience with end-to-end learning process with emphasis on delivery using multiple methodologies.
• Conducts learning evaluations and provides recommendations for program design changes.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation); includes the ability to translate complex messages to different audiences.
• Strong facilitation and training skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to utilize LEAN methodology for problem solving
• Ability to be self-directed in performance of duties
• Ability to integrate and facilitate cross-functional teams
• Ability to mentor/coach leaders within the organization
• Demonstrates project management skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/ projects to meet deadlines.
