Job summary
Randstad Digital Americas seeks a senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You will work with Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern UI frameworks like React or Angular to deliver AI-enabled product delivery tools.
Join a team that collaborates across Product, UX, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to drive CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native development, and DevOps practices in a dynamic financial services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience building full stack applications.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience designing and developing scalable web applications and services.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, system design, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience evaluating or integrating AI-powered development tools is a plus.
- Financial services experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Expertise writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code, performing data analysis, data modelling, designing and implementation of data APIs and performance tuning.
- Expertise writing and maintaining batch jobs with technologies like ETL/Informatica and Autosys
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Experience following ATDD (acceptance test driven development) and writing automated tests for database code.
- Experience with cloud technologies is a bonus: Snowflake, S3
- Interest in writing clean, testable, readable, easily maintainable, and performant code.
- Knowledge in mid-tier technologies like Java, messaging technologies, web container and understanding how they interact with data.
- Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
- Ability to translate storyboards and use cases into applications that give Client a strategic edge with critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of CI / CD processes & tools and are passionate about delivering high quality software.

- Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations based on business value and technical fit.
- Collaborate with Enterprise teams to align Brokerage solutions with broader Fidelity standards and platforms.

- You will lead design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and that are aligned to the program's strategic direction.
