Job summary

ZealHire Inc. seeks a senior Oracle Fusion ERP General Ledger/Accounting Hub consultant for a remote, 12-month engagement with travel to Barbados, Jamaica, Toronto and other sites as needed. Must hold Oracle GL certification and show strong accounting leadership in insurance environments.

The role requires experience with multi-currency configurations, legal entity structures, and complex intercompany processes, with a focus on IFRS/US GAAP reporting and data governance. Video interview process.

Qualifications

• Experience in Insurance industry-led accounting design and transformation.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements.
• Ability to lead accounting hub implementations and drive integrations with Oracle ERP.

Responsibilities

• Architect and configure ledgers, legal entities, business units, and multi-currency structures.
• Lead Accounting Hub and Oracle GL implementations, intercompany and data reconciliation efforts.
• Drive financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit controls across international setups.

Location: REMOTE with Travel toBarbados, Jamaica, Toronto. Also, potentially Eastern Caribbean islands, Tampa, or Scottsdale.

1. Enterprise Financial Structure & Ledger Design Expertise in Insurance industry

The consultant must be able to architect and configure:

• Primary, Secondary, Reporting, and Statutory Ledgers
• Legal Entity and Business Unit structures
• Multi-currency configurations
• Multi-IFRS reporting requirements specifically in insurance industry preferred

2. Accounting Hub Functional Expertise

• Strong experience of:
  • Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub
  • Oracle General Ledger
  • Subledger Accounting
  • Intercompany Accounting
  • Financial Close processes
  • Accounting controls and audit requirements
  • Data conversion and reconciliation
• Accounting Hub implementation experience
• Accounting Transformation design and configuration

• Accounting Hub retention and drill-down reporting

• Able to lead integrations

3. Data Conversion, Integration & Financial Data Governance

A strong GL consultant must be able to drive:

• Legacy COA mapping
• Worked with EDM (Enterprise Data Management) governance
• Reconciliation and cutover planning

4. Financial Reporting, Compliance & Solution Design Leadership

The consultant should be able to translate executive reporting requirements into Oracle designs supporting:

• Management Reporting (shared or deferred with/to Financial Consolidation & Close)
• Regulatory Reporting (shared or deferred with/to Financial Consolidation & Close)
• GAAP Reporting (shared or deferred with/to Financial Consolidation & Close)
• IFRS Reporting (shared or deferred with/to Financial Consolidation & Close)
