The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on Hyperion/Oracle EPM experience, strong skills in Planning, Essbase, and cloud migrations, and a proven track record delivering financial systems enhancements.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM professional with at least seven years of hands-on experience supporting Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle EPM Cloud environments. This individual will serve as a functional and technical expert across enterprise financial planning and reporting platforms, partnering closely with Finance, Tax, Human Resources, Technology, and other business stakeholders.

This is a direct hire opportunity with our client Northern Suburb of New York City. It is a hybrid work environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex financial and operational requirements into scalable system solutions, leading implementation initiatives, supporting production environments, and driving continuous improvement across planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, allocation, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable financial systems solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting solutions, including Smart View and Financial Reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, allocation, and management reporting processes.
• Lead or contribute to full lifecycle Oracle EPM and Hyperion implementations, enhancements, and cloud migration initiatives.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, training, and post-production support.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Hyperion and/or Oracle EPM technologies in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience developing, implementing, enhancing, and supporting Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.
• Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Experience leading or playing a significant role in at least one full-cycle Hyperion Planning or Oracle EPM implementation.
• Experience supporting cloud transformation or migration initiatives.Deep understanding of the full implementation lifecycle, including:
