Job summary

Global IT Family is seeking a Sr Oracle Apex Developer to join our remote team. You will design and optimize Oracle PL/SQL objects, develop in Oracle APEX, and integrate web services for mission-critical systems.

We value strong SQL tuning, data modeling, and clear technical documentation. Requirements include a CS degree and 5–7 years in Oracle environments, with 19c experience and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5–7 years of Oracle PL/SQL experience (stored procedures, functions, packages, advanced queries).
• 5–7 years of Oracle APEX experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (19c preferred).
• Experience using SQL Developer or TOAD.
• Understanding of data modeling principles.
• Experience integrating web services.
• Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and testing SQL queries, views, and stored procedures (Oracle and SQL Server).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Title: Sr Oracle Apex Developer

Location: REMOTE

Duration: Long term

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

5-7 years of experience developing in Oracle PL/SQL, including:

Stored procedures

Functions

Packages

Advanced queries

5-7 years of experience developing applications using Oracle APEX.

Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS (Oracle 19c preferred).

Strong experience using SQL Developer and/or TOAD.

Understanding of data modeling principles.

Experience integrating web services.

Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and testing SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Oracle (and SQL Server).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior Commonwealth or Environmental systems experience (preferred but not required).

Experience modernizing legacy Oracle Forms applications.
