Job summary

Visionworks in Huntersville, NC is hiring a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store and drive the customer journey from greeting to eyewear fit. This part-time role focuses on delivering sales goals while ensuring a human, bold experience for every patient.

The ideal candidate has optical experience or ABO certification, strong customer service skills, and a HS diploma. You will engage with customers, measure eyewear and restock merchandise while supporting daily

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products meeting eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain optical knowledge through training.
• Restock inventory, merchandise and fulfill eyewear orders to ship.

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.70 - 18.47 per hr

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship
