SR OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN - (Temple Faculty Physicians/40 hours days)

Join to apply for the SR OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN - (Temple Faculty Physicians/40 hours days) role at Temple Health – Temple University Health System.

Under the direction of the Ophthalmology team, assists with taking histories, auto fractions, lensometry, K-reading, visual fields, and A and B scans. Oversees daily operations related to patient care and throughput, rooms patients, performs special tests, and participates in regulatory readiness and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Experience: 4 Years Relevant Clinical Experience (Required), Surgical assistance experience (Required), General knowledge of and experience with patient work-up (Required), related diagnostic tests and equipment (Required)
  • Licenses/Certifications: COA - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (Required)
