Job Summary

Senior Operations Manager responsible for day‑to‑day plant operations, safety culture, process improvement, and cross‑department collaboration at a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage day‑to‑day plant operations through subordinate operation managers.
  • Foster a safety‑first culture through awareness, training, and accountability.
  • Guide operational leaders to meet service, quality, accuracy, and productivity standards.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, provide constructive feedback, and structure resources for planned execution.
  • Solve complex problems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Implement measures to reduce rework and scrap to improve profit margin.
  • Oversee development of new production processes and engineering changes.
  • Collaborate with other departments for integrated operations.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma and analytical skills to identify gaps and implement process improvements.
  • Provide support and training to managers and supervisors to meet or exceed plant measurables.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; ten years of management experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail oriented with organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management abilities.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 and Lean manufacturing.
