Overview

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Senior Oncology Liaison to join Texas Oncology. This full-time remote role supports the Texas Center for Proton Therapy at 1501 West Royal Lane. While primarily remote, the candidate should be within 1 hour of the Proton Center and may need to work in-office occasionally.

The Senior Oncology Liaison is a sales leader responsible for prospecting, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with referring physicians to support practice growth. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve sales and growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with operational leaders, physicians, and staff to understand business needs and execute sales strategies aligned with practice goals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with referring physicians through visits, calls, and emails.
  • Develop and implement practice growth strategies in core markets, collaborating with Practice Marketing.
  • Utilize CRM and market data to develop sales plans and monitor performance.
  • Support growth efforts through visits, trade-shows, community events, and collaborations.
  • Potentially supervise and mentor other Oncology Liaisons.
  • Manage administrative duties, including expenses and reporting tools like Salesforce.
  • Adhere to compliance standards and company values.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Healthcare; or equivalent experience with an associate degree and 4+ years in healthcare sales.
  • 5-7 years healthcare sales experience, preferably with physician accounts.
  • Proven success in sales, consultative sales skills, and territory planning.
  • Proficiency with CRM (preferably Salesforce) and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Work environment involves travel (~70%) and exposure to healthcare settings.
