INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Sr. Okta Engineer for a long-term remote project in the United States.

The role focuses on Okta/OIE application remediation, integrating with enterprise IdP using OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SAML, and preparing for UAT and production cutover. The candidate should bring 10+ years of software engineering experience, hands-on Okta integration expertise, and proficiency in multiple languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.

• Hands-on integration with Okta or another enterprise IdP using OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SAML.
• Okta SDKs such as Auth JS and Sign-In Widget.

• Pair with app teams on code and configuration changes (OIDC/OAuth, Okta upgrades).
• Validate changes in lower environments; support UAT, regression testing, and change management prep.

Title: Sr. Okta Engineer (Okta/OIE Application Remediation)
Location: Remote (US)
Duration: 6+ months - Long Term Project
Compensation: $55-62.00
Work Requirements: U.S. Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Translate Okta-side changes into clear, application-specific remediation plans
• Pair with app teams on code and configuration changes (OIDC/OAuth flows, Okta SDK upgrades, Sign-In Widget, SAML settings)
• Validate changes in lower environments; support UAT, regression testing, and change management prep
• Document application-level and Okta configuration per app
• Support production cutover and hypercare issue resolution

Required

• 10+ years of software engineering across enterprise web and API applications
• Hands-on integration of applications with Okta or another enterprise IdP using OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SAML
• Okta SDKs (Auth JS, Sign-In Widget, Spring, .NET, or similar)
• Proficient in at least two of: Java, C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python
• Strong auth troubleshooting (JWT/token inspection, SAML tracing, browser dev tools)
• Comfortable working across many application teams and codebases at once

Preferred

• Okta Classic to OIE migration experience
• Okta Certified Developer
• Financial services experience
