Job description

Role & Responsibilities

Handling meetings with B2C & B2B clients.

  • Appoint new dealers.
  • Generate new leads through architects, dealers, etc., and convert them into orders.

Manage architects & key accounts.

  • Develop long-term relationships with architects.

Develop B2C & B2B sales in the area.

  • Achieve sales targets assigned for the region.
  • Gather information about competitors in the market.

Prepare timely reports in CRM and maintain an up-to-date pipeline/order/inquiry bank.

  • Close orders with good margins and ensure payment terms are met.

Maintain good coordination with all key stakeholders for closing prospective orders.

Stakeholders include:

  • External: Developers, builders, dealers, architects, interior designers, government departments.
  • Internal: Marketing, Sales, Accounts, Logistics teams, and other departments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in the building materials industry.
  • Experience working with architects, builders, dealers, developers, & government departments in Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Karur, Namakkal, Tiruchirapalli & Thanjavur.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and local languages.

Skills required include decision-making, communication, presentation, negotiation, fast learning, passion for sales, and computer proficiency.

Willing to travel to potential areas for site meetings and field mapping.

Excellent account management skills, teamwork, and result orientation.

Candidates with sales experience in paint, ceramics, tiles, sanitary, marble, granite, glass, plywoods are preferred.

Good exposure with dealers, sub-dealers, distributors, contractors, and architects.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience with electrical products, building materials, sanitary, electrical wires.

Good experience working with builders, architects, engineers, and homeowners, who are primary decision-makers.
