Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a senior Observability Platform engineer to define standards and architecture across the organization. You will mentor engineers and lead design reviews for observability initiatives.

You will own the VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus metrics pipeline, expand logging with OpenSearch/Logstash/Filebeat, and architect distributed tracing via Jaeger/OpenTelemetry across services and data centers. Backend scalability and IaC across Kubernetes and Debian bare metal are required.
