Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced auditor who can independently manage and execute audits for non-profit and governmental clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit and government auditing standards, the ability to work autonomously, and a passion for serving mission-driven organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct audits for non-profit and township/government clients in accordance with GAAS, Government Auditing Standards, and Uniform Guidance
  • Prepare and review audit workpapers, compliance supplements, and internal control questionnaires
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and firm leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
  • Manage multiple engagements and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Participate in client meetings and provide value-added insights

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in non-profit and/or government auditing
  • Deep understanding of relevant standards (GAAS, Government Auditing Standards, Uniform Guidance)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
