Job summary

US Foods is hiring for a warehouse role responsible for slotting products across dry, cooler, freezer, and PIR zones to ensure efficient and accurate selections. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in a warehouse admin/clerical role.

The role operates on a Sunday-Thursday night shift from 6 PM to 2:30 AM, with emphasis on safety, audits, and daily replenishment priorities. Strong communication, math, and organizational skills are essential.

• Slot product in all warehouse areas for efficient and safe operations.
• Must communicate clearly in writing and verbally; strong math, organizational and detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Slot product in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) for efficiency and safety.
• Accurate slotting of new items and daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
• Monitor, research and respond to Slot Check email inquiries.
• Partner with Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.
• Manage daily replenishment priorities.
• Perform scheduled audits including aisle audits, check digits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways.
• Daily communication with Warehouse Manager about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns.
• Lead morning huddle for warehouse employees including safety tip and inbound pallets, and lead on the job stretching.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Assign product to pick slots in the warehouse to maximize efficiency and minimize errors. Provide best selection sequence to enable most productive selection process. The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where the temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees. All job responsibilities are to be performed in adherence with the Company’s Cultural Beliefs and Code of Conduct

Schedule :

• Sunday - Thursday
• 6 PM – 2:30 AM

Education/Training : High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Related Experience : A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical role. Prior slotting experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Must have excellent telephone skills, strong math skills, and organizational skills, with attention to detail. Basic computer skills, and good analytical skills. Must be able to resolve routine problems of limited scope.

$24 - $37
