Job Summary

As a Senior Network Validation Engineer, you will develop and implement comprehensive network solutions aligned with customer and business objectives, enabling breakthroughs in this rapidly moving field. You will help build, benchmark, and troubleshoot clusters for our customers, including on-site network deployment and acceptance. You will be part of a talented team delivering mission-critical infrastructure with high availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities
  1. Convert customer specifications into network configuration instructions and commands.
  2. Design/test proof of concept and optimize network performance through tuning.
  3. Configure and set up switches from brands like SONIC, Juniper, Cumulus, Mellanox.
  4. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Address complex challenges with strong analytical skills.
  6. Optimize network performance, address latency, bandwidth, and implement redundancy.
  7. Manage multiple network design and troubleshooting initiatives.
  8. Resolve issues with switches, Ethernet cards, InfiniBand switches, and HBAs.
  9. Maintain and improve test plans and instructions.
  10. Develop and deploy custom scripts for deployment tasks.
  11. Lead deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
  12. Implement automation tools for network management.
  13. Provide guidance on network security, routing, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, wireless, vendor management, and automation.
  14. Provide on-site deployment and customer acceptance verification.
  15. Draft and maintain technical documentation.
  16. Design and optimize routing protocols like BGP, SD-WAN, MPLS.
  17. Build strong technical relationships with customers and partners.
Qualifications
  1. BS/MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5+ years in hardware/networking.
  2. Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are a plus.
  3. Deep knowledge of networking protocols and hardware, including TCP/IP, L2/L3, SDN, InfiniBand, VLAN, MLAG, etc.
  4. Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and networking.
  5. Strong skills in bash scripting, Python, and compilers.
  6. Optional: virtualization, cloud, security certifications.
  7. Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.
  8. Ability to work onsite, travel, and work outside regular hours as needed.
