Job summary

Visionaire Partners in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead modernization and security of a large-scale enterprise network spanning multiple corporate sites. The role is hybrid with three days in-office and focuses on SD-WAN deployments, Zero Trust, and ensuring reliability for critical systems.

You will manage LAN/WAN, firewall upgrades, routing and switching, and work with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Palo Alto firewalls, and MPLS/SD-WAN.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong expertise with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switching and ISR/ASR routing.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, L2/L3 troubleshooting and STP.
• Extensive experience with Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls, NAT, VPN, policy management.
• Proven ability to operate SD-WAN and MPLS architectures.

Responsibilities

• Operationally hands-on with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Lead modernization projects including firewall upgrades and VLAN restructuring.
• Manage day-to-day LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN operations across multiple sites.
• Serve as final escalation for routing, switching, and security incidents.
• Maintain security through network segmentation and ISE-based access controls.

Are you a technical leader who thrives on building resilient, high-performance infrastructure? We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to drive the modernization and security of a large-scale enterprise network spanning multiple corporate sites.

In this role, you will lead hands-on technical initiatives—from SD-WAN deployments to Zero Trust implementation—ensuring seamless connectivity for both business-critical systems and production workloads.

Core Responsibilities

• Primarily Operational Support: Hands-on troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
• Modernization & Strategy: Lead complex projects including firewall upgrades, VLAN restructuring, and cloud connectivity enhancements.
• Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day operations for LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN services across a distributed multi-site environment.
• High-Level Support: Serve as the final escalation point for intricate routing, switching, and security incidents.
• Security Integration: Maintain robust access solutions using Cisco ISE and advanced network segmentation to protect IT/OT environments.
• Reliability: Design for high availability, executing failover testing, and maintaining detailed system documentation.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of dedicated enterprise network engineering. Very strong hands-on troubleshooting depth and the ability to solve technical issues on your own.
• Cisco Mastery: Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switching and ISR/ASR routing.
• Protocol Proficiency: Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, L2/L3 troubleshooting, and STP.
• Security First: Strong experience with Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls, including NAT, VPN, and security policy management.
• Connectivity: Proven success in operating SD-WAN and MPLS architectures.
