Job summary

Cleartech Recruiting is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a premier wealth-management client. The role is hybrid across Austin, Chicago, and Denver, focusing on enterprise network infrastructure, security, and ongoing projects.

You'll manage firewall policies, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless networks, collaborate with Security and Infra teams, and help deploy new office locations while ensuring robust monitoring and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Experience administering Cisco Meraki security appliances, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking including VLANs, 802.1Q trunking, inter-VLAN routing, STP, and LACP.
• Experience configuring firewall policies, NAT, site-to-site VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Experience deploying enterprise wireless networks including SSIDs, WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise, and guest networking.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE (802.1X, RADIUS) and Cisco FTD/FMC.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark, ping, and traceroute.

Responsibilities

We're partnering with a leading wealth management firm to find a Senior Network Engineer to join their Infrastructure Engineering team. This is a hands-on role managing enterprise network infrastructure across multiple office locations, with exposure to network deployments, security, and ongoing infrastructure projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

What They're Looking For:

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4, DHCP, DNS, NAT, SNMP, and common enterprise networking protocols
• Experience configuring firewall policies, NAT, site-to-site VPNs, and network segmentation
• Experience deploying enterprise wireless networks including SSIDs, WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise, and guest networking
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE (802.1X, RADIUS) and Cisco FTD/FMC
• Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark, ping, and traceroute
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience with OSPF, BGP, or SD-WAN (Cisco Meraki AutoVPN)
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or ThousandEyes
• PowerShell, Python, or REST API experience for network automation
• ITIL-based change management experience
