Simple Solutions in Santa Clara, United States, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to drive Data Center Fabric and enterprise networking in a 6+ month contract with possible extension. Local is preferred, but stellar candidates may work remote.

The role is hybrid on-site with a focus on TCP/IPv6, BGP/MP-BGP, VPN, EVPN, VxLAN, MPLS, IS-IS, and DWDM. Hands-on with Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls; experience with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt is a plus; CCIE/JNCIE/CCNP/JNCP preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months contract with possible extension.
• Local preferred but remote okay for stellar candidate.
• 8–12 years of experience building Data Centers and Enterprise Networks.
• Expert in networking technologies: TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MP-BGP, VPN, L2 switching, EVPN, VxLAN, Segment Routing, MPLS, IS-IS, DWDM.
• Hands-on with Cisco ASAs and Palo Alto firewalls.

Must have Main skills:

• Data Center Fabric builds
• InfiniBand hands on experience
• 8-12 years of experience building Data Centers and Enterprise Networks
• Expert in networking technologies: TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MP-BGP, VPN, L2 switching, EVPN, VxLAN, Segment Routing, MPLS, IS-IS, DWDM.
• Proficient with hands on implementation of Cisco ASAs and firewalls (Palo Alto)
• Experience using an automated configuration management system (Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, etc.) is a plus
• CCIE(Highly preferred), JNCIE or CCNP, JNCP equivalent
