The people who work here know that, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

Astrolab is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to own the design, implementation, and security of our enterprise and mission critical network infrastructure. • Architect and manage Azure cloud networking topologies (Hub & Spoke architectures, Virtual WAN, Azure ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways)
  • Support mission operations by ensuring real-time, low-latency telemetry and video broadcast streams
  • Use tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate network and firewall configurations
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance of the network environments
  • Act as the subject matter expert and primary escalation point for networking, cloud connectivity, and performance issues
  • Mentor and coach entry/mid-level engineers interested in expanding their skillsets
  • Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for system outages
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of architectural diagrams, deployment processes, and runbooks
