Job Summary

The key responsibilities of the Sr. Network Engineer will include developing network designs, strategic plans, standards, roadmaps, and other key technology plans for deploying secure, high-performance networking solutions across the enterprise. The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for understanding and interpreting global business and technical requirements to develop advanced network solutions. This role does not have any direct reports.

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000

*Position is eligible for a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate network architectures, standards, and strategies; participate in RFPs and planning.
• Guide the evolution of global networks with a unified technology framework.
• Design new technology solutions for deployment into production networks.
• Research and recommend next-generation network technologies, products, and services.
• Create customized solutions to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with peers on project plans and architectures.
• Mentor architects and engineers, fostering development and ownership.
• Engage with Business and Security teams to understand and translate requirements.
• Present solution options to leadership, considering technical, financial, security, and support aspects.
• Identify gaps and improve business operations and customer experience.
• Stay updated on technological advancements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
• Support enterprise WLAN, LAN, WAN, and remote access solutions.
• Develop standards, procedures, and documentation for enterprise networks.
• Build network infrastructure in data centers.
• Ensure compliance with company health, safety, environment, energy, and quality policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferred).
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, CSSLP, or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in a multinational enterprise environment.
• Experience in operations, implementation, design, and architecture.
• Technical leadership in large, complex global enterprises.
• Experience designing large-scale, secure, high-performance data networks.
• Expertise in Cloud, Security, and Networking domains.
• Experience with multiple vendor products beyond Cisco.
• Hands-on technical experience.
• Effective communication skills at all technical levels.
• Knowledge of industry solutions and vendors.
• Experience with SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, automation, virtualization, and orchestration.
• Additional IT infrastructure skills are a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and action-driven.
• International travel required (approximately 15%).
