Applied Network Solutions Inc. in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Sr. Network Design Engineer (CORE WAN) to own and drive MPLS WAN architecture and service solutions. The role includes lab testing, security accreditation assistance, and documentation duties, with on-call support for Tier-4 production issues.

ANS is seeking a Sr. Network Design Engineer (CORE (WAN)) to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
• Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years, master’s and 10 years, bachelor’s and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years
• Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture
• Developing MPLS WAN services solution
• Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing
• Assisting with the security accreditation process
• Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation.
• On as-needed basis, the engineer will also be responsible for supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing pro-active network analysis solution for the operations team.

As required by local law, Applied Network Solutions, Inc. provides reasonable salary ranges of compensation for work performed in applicable states. Ranges are not a guarantee of compensation and depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to contractual requirements, work location, years of experience, skill set, and education. Overtime is not guaranteed for this position.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 USD.
