We have an opening for a Mulesoft Developer on a long-term contract. Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid capacity out of Wilmington, MA. Local candidates only.
This MuleSoft Integration Developer will be responsible for software analysis, design, development, documentation, defect resolution, and implementation on MuleSoft's Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The Developer will adhere to integration and development standards, customer relationship standards, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Development of integrations and APIs using enterprise integration patterns and frameworks.
- Integration of these services on-premise and utilizing cloud services.
- Perform analyses of requirements to design, document, and develop technical implementations aligning with business needs, including modifications to existing systems or creation of new systems/services.
- Refine high-level requirements and create implementation strategies, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
- Design new API applications and enhance existing API solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert in application and system integrations discussions.
- Provide technical guidance to the development team.
- Support maintenance, troubleshooting, technical design, coding, and testing activities.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with PCI regulations and requirements.
- Work collaboratively with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in Java and Web services development, including Java technologies like JSP, Servlets, EJBs.
- 8+ years of Mule ESB experience in large, complex projects.
- Experience with AnyPoint Platform and Implementation.
- Certified MuleSoft Developer.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, RAML, Data Mapper, DataWeave, and connectors.
- Experience integrating messaging systems, legacy IBM AS400, and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud integrations.
- Proficiency in JSON, XML, XSLT, JMS, SQL.
- Understanding of integration design patterns, SOA/EAI best practices.
- Experience with data transformation techniques.
- Knowledge of information security frameworks (Basic, OAuth, SAML, TLS, AD).
- Ability to design, develop, deploy, and troubleshoot integrations.
- Exposure to SOA governance is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to leverage expertise across multiple areas for technical product development.
