Artifintech in San Jose, CA seeks a Sr. MuleSoft Developer to design, develop and deploy APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will build REST and SOAP APIs, apply API-led connectivity, and ensure robust security, logging and monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include DR planning, CI/CD automation, and production support, with strong hands-on MuleSoft development and RAML/OpenAPI proficiency. US work authorization required.

Formación

• 4+ years of integration development experience, including MuleSoft development
• Strong experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager
• Experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP APIs, database integrations, and asynchronous integrations
• Knowledge of RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, and API security
• Experience deploying MuleSoft apps in CloudHub/CloudHub 2.0 or Runtime Fabric
• CI/CD, Git-based source control, Maven, and automated deployments
• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, failover/failback concepts

Responsabilidades

• MuleSoft DR: support DR strategy, establish RTO/RPO, deploy/recover across environments
• Build automation for recreating apps/configs/secrets in DR, maintain DR runbooks
• Validate dependencies during DR testing; coordinate with infra, Sec, network, DB teams

Job Description:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, API Manager, and Exchange.
• Develop REST/SOAP APIs and integrations with databases, SaaS applications, vendor platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Implement API-led connectivity patterns, including System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Develop reusable integration components, error-handling frameworks, logging, security, and operational monitoring.
• Create and maintain RAML/OpenAPI specifications, API policies, and integration documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues involving connectivity, performance, timeouts, API failures, memory/resource utilization, and downstream dependencies.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure solutions follow enterprise development, security, and API governance standards.

MuleSoft Disaster Recovery:

• Support the design and implementation of a MuleSoft DR strategy for business-critical APIs and integrations.
• Assist with establishing and validating RTO and RPO requirements for MuleSoft applications.
• Support deployment and recovery procedures across primary and DR environments.
• Build or improve automation for recreating applications, configurations, API policies, secrets, properties, networking, and other MuleSoft dependencies in the DR environment.
• Maintain DR runbooks covering failover, application recovery, dependency validation, connectivity checks, smoke testing, and failback.
• Participate in scheduled DR exercises and document test results, recovery times, issues, and remediation actions.
• Validate external dependencies such as DNS, load balancers, certificates, firewalls, databases, identity providers, OAuth providers, and third-party endpoints during DR testing.
• Work with infrastructure, Cyber Security, network, database, application, and business teams to ensure end-to-end recovery readiness.
• Support post-DR reconciliation and failback to the primary environment.

DevOps & Production Support:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven, and MuleSoft deployment APIs/tools.
• Automate environment-specific configurations and deployments to reduce manual recovery steps.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for API availability, latency, errors, resource utilization, and integration failures.
• Participate in production support, root-cause analysis, incident resolution, and problem management.
• Identify opportunities to improve resiliency, availability, recoverability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of integration development experience, preferably with 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development.
• Strong experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.x, API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Platform.
• Experience developing and supporting REST APIs, SOAP services, database integrations, and asynchronous integrations.
• Strong knowledge of RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, and API security.
• Experience deploying and supporting MuleSoft applications in CloudHub/CloudHub 2.0 or Runtime Fabric.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git-based source control, Maven, and automated deployments.
• Understanding of high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery, RTO, RPO, failover, and failback concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting production APIs and integrations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience implementing or executing MuleSoft DR exercises.
• Experience automating MuleSoft infrastructure/configuration recovery using APIs, CI/CD pipelines, or Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, certificates, and enterprise networking.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Anypoint Monitoring, Azure Monitor, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments such as banking, financial services, insurance, or healthcare.
• MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Developer or MuleSoft Integration Architect are preferred
