Purpose/Duties

Join our team! Achieva is a full-service mortgage lender. This position offers a base salary (exempt) plus commission!

Provide mortgage services to members and seek non-member business. Develop a strong referral network among real estate agents, builders, and community contacts. Travel within the local area for business development and to the Corporate Headquarters in Dunedin, FL for meetings. Participate in annual training and adhere to BSA and Privacy Act requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, with a proven track record. This role requires evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate the credit union’s mortgage services professionally and efficiently.
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and wealth advisors.
• Make sales calls to develop and retain business.
• Manage member interactions from application to closing, including counseling and pre-approvals.
• Complete applications, gather documentation, validate data, and enter information into LOS and AUS systems.
• Assist processors, closers, and underwriters with information and documentation.
• Conduct monthly updates and quarterly informational sessions on residential lending.
• Maintain an average of $1,000,000 in residential loans per month, with a 90-day introductory pipeline-building period for new officers.
• Stay informed on real estate market trends, guidelines, and regulations.
• Uphold ethical standards and represent the credit union professionally.

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.

Licenses and Certifications

• NMLS required.
