Job summary

Cardinal Health in Town of Florida, NY is hiring for a Product Test & Calibration technician. You will operate and calibrate injection molding machines, monitor processes, and support maintenance on production lines to meet quality standards.

You will troubleshoot equipment, participate in validations, and assist engineering with improvement efforts. A high school diploma and 2+ years of PP/PE resin molding experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of injection molding experience with polypropylene and polyethylene resins preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process injection molding machines to run mold processes within validated parameters.
• Troubleshoot injection molding processes using scientific molding techniques.
• Set up the production floor and monitor kanban/shop order levels.
• Assist engineering with molding validations following procedures and using scientific molding techniques.
• Attend tier meetings and communicate floor needs to management to drive production goals.
• Assist in root cause investigations for quality defects on the floor.

***What Product Test & Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health*** Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment.
