Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Product Test & Calibration team member to operate and troubleshoot injection molding equipment on the 11:00 pm–7:00 am shift (Tuesday–Saturday) at our DeLand, Florida facility. You will set up machines, monitor parameters, and support molding validations to ensure quality and efficiency.

What Product Test & Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.

Shift Details

• 11:00 pm to 7:00 am - Tuesday to Saturday

Responsibilities

• Process injection molding machines to run mold processes within validated parameters.
• Troubleshoot injection molding processes using scientific molding techniques.
• Setup the production floor and monitor kanban/shop order levels.
• Assist engineering with molding validations following the company procedures and using scientific molding techniques.
• Attend tier meetings and effectively communicate floor needs to the management team in order to make production goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Process injection molding machines to run mold processes within validated parameters.
• Set molds in machines when needed safely using a hoist and the proper clamping method.
• Assist in root cause investigations for any quality defect issues on the floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with injection molding processes with polypropylene and polyethylene resins preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Anticipated hourly range:$24.75 - $34.65 per hour (includes shift differential)
