Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Sr. Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Campaign Analyst to provide onsite support at Naval Air Station - Patuxent River, MD.

The role involves warfighting assessments, analysis, and advanced concept development for Navy and allied systems. Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree, have 12+ years of experience, and possess 6+ years in modeling, data analysis, and operations research, with an active TS/SCI clearance and ability to work fully onsite

Group W provides wargaming, warfare modeling and simulation, software development, data analytics, and operations research/system analysis support to the national security mission. As a leader in the fields of campaign, mission, and wargaming analysis we embrace the cycle of research paradigm, continually seeking to improve the multi-method application of tools, data, methods, and techniques to generate credible and resilient insights to inform decisions on the Department’s most challenging issues spanning CONOPs, acquisitions, force structures, tactics, and strategies. Group W is the developer and maintainer of the Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM), the authoritative M&S tool accepted by the Joint Analytic Community for analysis of theater-level, multi-domain, joint warfare. Similarly, we developed and manage the Standard Wargame Integration and Facilitation Tool (SWIFT) for OSW as an adaptable environment to support joint force combatants’ wargaming requirements.

We have an upcoming need for a Sr. Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Campaign Analyst to provide onsite support at Naval Air Station - Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD.

Responsibilities

The candidate will perform warfighting assessments and effectiveness analysis and advanced concept development and design. Provide analytic support for the pre-acquisition, acquisition, and sustainment of Navy, Joint, and allied systems acquisition process. Perform modeling and simulations for operational analysis. The role reports to Naval Air Station - Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD., up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client.
