Job summary

SpaceXSI in California (Palo Alto) is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to help build the next generation of large-scale models. You will work on production-quality code and training pipelines for models with billions of parameters, collaborating across teams to ship impactful AI capabilities.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with Python, PyTorch, JAX, Rust or C++, and a track record training models used by millions of users.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience writing production-quality code in Python, PyTorch, JAX, Rust, or C++
• Experience training large models (e.g., pretraining, post-training, fine-tuning, or RL training of neural networks with 1B+ parameters)

• Experience training models used by millions of users

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$180,000 - $600,000 USD
