Fleet Services is the leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, offering mobile on-site fleet service for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. We also service customers utilizing our 50+ nationwide service centers, providing accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. Supported by a 24/7 in-house call-center, we deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to fleets anywhere, anytime. We are currently hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician.

The Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance inspections, light and advanced repairs, diagnostics, and other duties as assigned. They are relied upon for advanced diagnostics and triage of complex repairs and are considered the lead on jobsites by customers and technicians, functioning as a consultant on the customer's behalf. A successful candidate will comply with all company policies and achieve high performance metrics.

DUTIES:

1. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment.
2. Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment including electrical, brake, cooling systems, and more.
3. Diagnose, adjust, and repair various truck equipment, using test instruments and road testing vehicles.
4. Manage parts inventory and operate company-issued service vehicle safely.
5. Work effectively with clients to assess needs and resolve issues.
6. Prioritize tasks and manage own schedule independently.
7. Document all work performed accurately using company devices and applications.
8. Complete all required forms and maintain safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess and supply necessary hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 and 608/609 certifications within 18 months.
• Pass DOT physical and background screening.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Preferred Certifications:

• ASE T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, A8, L1, L2
