Collins Aerospace is seeking an ERP Business Analyst – Record to Report (R2R) to drive the Process & Systems Transformation program, standardizing ERP processes and reporting across the enterprise using SAP S/4HANA. The role emphasizes blueprint, build, testing, and cutover activities to enable a smooth migration from legacy systems.

Qualifications

• University degree with 10+ years finance experience or Advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Extensive SAP experience including configuration, data management, and reporting in FI/CO.
• 10+ years of finance acumen: master data, allocations, FP&A, reporting, tax, treasury, G/L, fixed assets, payroll, period close, consolidation, costing, and project accounting.
• 7+ years SAP configuration and implementation in FI/CO: GL, treasury, banking, asset accounting, AR, AP, tax integrations, intercompany accounting, cost center accounting.

Overview

Collins Aerospace is looking for an ERP Business Analyst – Record to Report (R2R) to help drive our Collins Process & Systems Transformation program. The program will harmonize key business processes, tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems and customer related applications. Collins has chosen SAP’s S/4HANA and is in the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

Responsibilities

Successful delivery within each phase of the program:

• Blueprint – detailed design for processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluation of gaps and making scope decisions.
• Build – collaborate with external resources and internal team members in the configuration and development of system capabilities.
• Testing – support the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work alongside business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution.
• Cutover & Hypercare – support successful migration from legacy systems to new environments, go‑live and continued financial performance.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

• Support the end‑to‑end R2R process areas including GL, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, Month‑end and Year‑end close, Banking, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Profit center and cost center accounting, product costing, and project systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams like planning, bill of materials, routings, MRP and external procurement to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4 HANA.
• Support the collection and distribution of labor via the SAP CATS application.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 universal allocations, assessments and distributions, and overhead application via costing sheets in an advanced manufacturing environment.
• Translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements, providing guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.
• Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
• Deliver functional specifications for forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows as part of the workstream.

Qualifications

Must Have

• University Degree and minimum 10 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree and minimum 7 years of experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with SAP systems including configuration, data management, and reporting.
• 10+ years of finance acumen, including master data, allocations, FP&A, financial reporting, tax, treasury, G/L, fixed assets, payroll, period close, consolidation, costing, and project accounting.
• 7+ years of SAP configuration and implementation in FI/CO modules – general ledger, treasury, banking, asset accounting, AR, AP, tax integrations, intercompany accounting, profit center accounting, and controlling modules.

• Program management experience managing complex enterprise projects.
• Experience on large regulated A&D enterprise projects or similarly regulated large organizations.
• Experience with agile frameworks or iterative software development.
