Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager - Design Quality to lead the Design Quality Assurance team in pursuing high product quality and continuous improvement. The role collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to implement strategies and drive COPQ reductions.

The position requires a STEM degree with extensive experience, citizenship for security clearance, and willingness to travel up to 25%. Onsite work in Richardson, TX or Sterling, VA.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with non-recurring or design and development engineering, including Systems and Software Engineering.
• Experience leading a team in a professional environment.

Sr. Engineering Manager - Design Quality

who has a passion for problem solving and developing high-performing teams. You will be part of the Design Quality Assurance organization, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the quality of exciting new design products and develop continual improvement solutions.

Location and Clearance

This role will be worked onsite in Richardson, TX or Sterling, VA and will require an active or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. Relocation assistance is available.

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
