The Role

We seek a strategic and experienced leader for the Senior Manager of Data Services at CDK Global. This role involves defining and executing the enterprise data strategy, managing data management, integration, warehousing, and analytics platforms like Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee data quality and governance, and collaborate with executive stakeholders to maximize data value.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive data services strategy aligned with business goals. Lead the evolution of our data platform and oversee delivery priorities.
2. Data Platform & Analytics: Manage architecture, development, and optimization of data platforms. Enforce best practices for data modeling, quality, and visualization. Support self-service analytics initiatives.
3. Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to measure data service effectiveness. Monitor data quality, implement automation, and optimize platform performance.
4. Executive Communication: Articulate the value and impact of data initiatives to leadership. Promote data literacy and foster strong relationships with business leaders.
5. Process Improvement & Thought Leadership: Continuously refine data lifecycle processes. Advocate for emerging data technologies and promote a data-driven culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Management, Engineering, BI, or Analytics with leadership experience
• Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
• Proven experience in developing enterprise data strategies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Additional Details
