We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Data Engineering & Analytics to lead our Corporate Functions Data and analytics team and drive our data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, analytics, and business intelligence, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business decisions and outcomes. This role requires strong data analysis skills, the ability to manage up to customers, the ability to work with multiple business and technical stakeholders and deliver value through data.
Leadership and Strategy: Lead and mentor a team of BI Managers, Data Engineers, BI analysts and developers.
Manage workload distribution, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects and reports.
Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Coordinates the work between business partners and on and offshore locations.
Partner with business leaders to create robust roadmaps.
Data Management: Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of data from various sources into Enterprise Data Lake.
Manage build of enterprise data foundations, reusable data models, and governed data products.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, including stakeholder engagement, design, deployment, and sunsetting of legacy solutions.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
Implement and maintain data governance and compliance standards.
Analytics and Reporting: Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with business units to identify key metrics and KPIs.
Enable self-service analytics across the organization.
Technology and Tools: Evaluate and implement BI tools and technologies.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence.
Project Management: Manage multiple BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Identifies and prioritizes BI projects through cost/benefit analyses.
Proactively works with functions business partners in identifying areas in which analytics efforts can produce a strong value add.
Ensures program targets are achieved and accurately quantifies value creation following project implementation.
6+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years in data and analytics roles in large/complex environments. 2+ years of experience in a leadership role managing Data/BI teams. Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy on‑premise or traditional data platforms to modern cloud technologies such as Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Experience directing both onshore and offshore teams. Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. Ability to work with and influence senior management. Ability to self-direct and accomplish objectives as part of larger project teams. Experience with Finance, Quality, Compliance, Product Management domains preferred. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, ADLS, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI preferred.
