Job Description
Under limited supervision and with technical guidance of Principal Engineers, the Application Systems Engineer will execute effective and accurate implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and components. The position requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure all errors are captured. Manage multiple projects while prioritizing actions in support of MES development objectives.

Role: MES System Engineer
Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities

1. MES Modeling and setup for a high mix production environment to automate processes and minimize human error.
2. Delivery of training throughout the organization on MES setup and use.
3. Data Collection and SPC modeling in the MES.
4. Able to generate reports using SQL and other reporting tools.
5. Help maintain and improve site reporting systems.
6. Work with outside vendors to achieve company objectives.

Required Qualifications

1. Associate degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
2. 2-5 Years of experience with factory automation or MES, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
3. MES and/or ERP setup and configuration
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills
5. Work with minimal supervision, balancing competing priorities, with accuracy.
6. SQL skills
7. Data extraction and manufacturing reporting

Preferred Qualifications

1. Computer Science degree
