Job summary

Target is seeking a Sr Merchandise Specialist to support both in-store and online channels within a hybrid work arrangement. You will help optimize product assortments, manage vendor data, and coordinate with Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops, and external vendors to ensure smooth product flow.

A four-year degree or equivalent experience is required. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving to support Guest experience

The pay range per hour is $20.82 - $37.45 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.

Role Description

As a Sr Merchandise Specialist supporting your categories for in-store and online channels, you'll provide key executional support to both our merchandise buying and planning teams. You will be integral to new vendor setup and to maintaining item and vendor data across many SKUs. You will proactively communicate on behalf of the department in meetings and via email, acting as the liaison for Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops and vendors. You will also help coordinate samples and solve problems with our supply chain partners to ensure successful product flow through our network.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
