Job summary

AECOM seeks a seasoned Senior MEP Project Manager for a hospitality construction project in Sacramento, CA. You will direct the project, guiding subordinate managers and serving as the primary liaison with the client to ensure design and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include overall project management from pre-construction budgeting and scheduling through contract closeout, with a focus on MEP systems, HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/Construction Management and 10 years of experience with MEP systems in construction or equivalent education/experience.
• MEP construction project management experience.
• Local Sacramento project experience preferred.

We seek a seasoned Senior MEP Project Manager for an exciting hospitality construction project in Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the entire project, provide guidance to subordinate managers, enforce company and project policies, and act as the primary liaison between AECOM and client.
• Accountable for all facets of the project to be constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Overall responsibility and management of the project including pre‑construction budgeting/scheduling, procurement, through contract closeout.
• Hold fiscal responsibility and serve as key liaison between client for the assigned project.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management and 10 years of experience with MEP systems in construction or equivalent education/experience.
• MEP construction project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, chilled water & condenser lines, duct & electrical panels.
• Experience with MEP budgets, change orders, subcontract agreements, cost forecasting, RFIs, field conflict resolution, construction documentation, field quality control.
• Proficiency in construction software such as Navisworks, Procore, CMiC, P6, Microsoft Project.
• High‑rise or large commercial project experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Offered rate is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience. The compensation range is $149,845.17 to $277,213.58 per year.
